There is no time like the present to find out who you are and who you want to be. In our busy lives we can lose sight of what we want to get out of our work. From time to time you need to reassess where you are and where you want to go, an honest feedback analysis. Feedback analysis is a successful tool for you to look in the past on key decisions and to see if the outcomes help you realize your true strengths and to build on them. It’s things like knowing how you learn, are you a reader or a listener? Knowing how you process information can make life easier. Knowing how those around you learn and process information can make a difference too. Also what do you contribute to your work and the company and what are your values, are they in synch? Our identity is what sets us apart from each other and it is grasping our own identity that creates our happiness at work. Excelling in your strengths is more worth your time then trying to make your weaknesses mediocre. In doing an honest inventory of yourself can be a helpful tool in guiding you on your career path. As Peter Drucker states “Do not try to change yourself- you are unlikely to succeed. Work to improve the way you perform.”
